Job summary

GCI Incorporated is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex enterprise networks. The role requires deep expertise in routing, switching, and security controls, with hands-on Cisco ACI experience across multi-data center environments.

The candidate will lead network architecture efforts, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet mission requirements. TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required for the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field; 10+ years of IP network design/architecture experience.
• Experience with architecting IP networks and related technologies across multi-data center environments.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring, security controls, and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues; collaborate with other IT disciplines.
• Develop and maintain Cisco ACI design, planning, implementation, and testing across multiple data centers.
• Produce architectural design solutions and present to client stakeholders.
• Mentor other engineers and participate in 24x7 on-call rotations.
