Job summary

GDIT is seeking an ISSE in Bethesda, MD to support customer activities and deliver cybersecurity services. You will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter, joining a team tasked with risk management across multiple fabrics and centers.

The role requires TS/SCI with active polygraph, 5+ years of related experience, and the ability to produce thorough security documentation and test plans. Onsite at the customer site with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• US citizenship required.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computing or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level RMF knowledge to support a NIST SP 800-53 through the A&A process.
• Create security documentation: SSPs, POA&Ms, and BOE artifacts for sponsor approval.
• Identify security controls and work with engineering, development and testing staff to craft test plans.
• Implement security audit reviews and verify audit records are collected and reviewed.
• Coordinate all security testing exercises with external assessment teams and staff.
• Configure and support AWS services to protect the system's security posture.
