Job summary

GDIT is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support customer activities on-site in McLean, VA. The role focuses on information assurance, RMF, and cloud security with AWS expertise and a TS/SCI with Poly requirement.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience, strong written and verbal communication, and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCP, Azure/GCP knowledge. On-site location with comprehensive total rewards and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience required.
• Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and cloud security.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-53, RMF, ICD 503, CNSSI 1253.

Responsibilities

• Provide information assurance for systems and programs.
• Coordinate and implement cyber security policies and processes.
• Maintain security posture using RMF and ensure security controls are followed.
• Prepare SSPs, C&A packages, architecture diagrams, and contingency/incident plans.
• Support risk management reviews and vulnerability assessments.
