Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer/ISSE to lead A&A activities and RMF-compliant documentation on customer-site projects in Washington, DC. You will coordinate with ISSMs, engineers, and project managers to develop SSP/CONOPS and gather POA&Ms, providing clear status updates across levels.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility, and DoD IASAE II certification.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience.
• DoD 8570 IASAE II level certification or equivalent.
• TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) reviews with ISSMs and Security Control Assessors.
• Document security control implementations and gather RMF/ ICD 503 artifacts for A&A.
• Write SSP/CONOPS and related A&A documents with stakeholders.
• Compile POA&M responses and ensure required evidence is available.
• Coordinate with contractor and customer personnel to obtain A&A content and navigate approval processes.
• Support audit liaison and RMF compliance activities and provide actionable recommendations.
