Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Cyber Technical Analyst to help strengthen our clients' cyber defense posture from Herndon, VA. You will apply your expertise in the A&A process, vulnerability management, and integration of new tools to meet security controls and protect missions.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in a related field, 8+ years of experience, and an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. US citizenship is required and you will be on customer site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in cyber security or related field
• Experience with A&A processes and standard security controls
• Knowledge of CVEs, vulnerabilities, and remediations
• Experience evaluating/integrating new cyber vulnerability tools
• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ are a plus
• Location: Herndon, VA; US Citizenship required

Our work depends on your expert skills in the A&A process, knowledge of vulnerability scanning and findings, and evaluation/integration of new tools in our customer's Office of Cyber Security (OCS).

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience


• Experience: 8+ years


• Technical skills:


• Experience with customer A&A process as an ISSE, ISSO, or SCA (Security Controls Assessor) including Body of Evidence (BoE) documents and mitigating findings to satisfy applicable security controls


• Knowledge of CVEs, IT security vulnerabilities and remediations


• Experience evaluating and/or integrating new cyber vulnerability tools to fill capability gaps


• Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Polygraph


• Preferred Skills/Certifications:


• CompTIA Security+


• NIST 800-53a controls


• Risk Management Framework
