Job summary

Markon, Inc. is seeking on-site Construction Monitors to oversee SCIF and other secure facility projects, ensuring compliance with ICD 705 and security requirements.

The role involves documenting progress, verifying RF shielding and security installations, and coordinating with diverse teams on active construction sites. Ideal candidates have TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain, a construction-related degree or equivalent experience, and strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain.
• 3+ years of experience in construction monitoring, inspection, and/or project management.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, methods, materials, and quality requirements.
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate construction logs, reports, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site construction monitoring and oversight for SCIF and other secure facility construction and renovation projects.
• Monitor construction activities and document progress, deviations, deficiencies, and potential compliance issues.
• Prepare accurate daily and weekly construction logs, reports, photographs, and supporting documentation.
• Verify installation of RF shielding, acoustic protections, physical security features, and other secure construction requirements.
• Review construction activities for alignment with approved drawings, specifications, security requirements, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, security personnel, inspectors, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve construction issues.
• Support end-of-construction inspections, testing, punch-list activities, and project closeout.
• Maintain accurate project records and support multiple construction priorities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
