Job summary

Markon, Inc. is seeking professionals to independently conduct SCIF inspections and ensure compliance with ICD 705 and related security requirements.

The role involves multi-discipline inspections, detailed reporting, and coordination with FSOs, engineers, and security teams. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of SCIF inspection experience, a TS/SCI clearance (or willing to obtain CI poly), and strong technical writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required
• Associate’s degree in a relevant technical field; 6 years of directly relevant experience may substitute for a degree
• 4+ years of SCIF inspection experience under ICD 705 and I
• Proficient in at least three inspection disciplines: physical security, access control, RF/TEMPEST, acoustics, or information systems security
• Experience operating inspection and test equipment and documenting technical findings
• Strong technical writing, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder communication skills

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct routine SCIF inspections and assessments per ICD 705/ICC 705-1 and standards
• Perform inspections across physical security, access control, RF/TEMPEST, acoustics, and information systems security
• Operate inspection/test equipment to evaluate facility compliance and document findings
• Prepare clear inspection reports, findings, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with FSOs, customers, engineers, construction teams, and security professionals throughout the inspection process
• Identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and track remediation through resolution
• Support multiple inspection activities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment
