Job summary

IDS International is seeking a Construction Security Monitor to support the National Security Services team in Springfield, VA. The role requires active TS/SCI with CI-Poly clearance and focuses on controlling site access, monitoring personnel, and enforcing security procedures.

The position involves documenting daily activities, producing logs, and reporting security incidents. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the construction site.
• Screen and escort personnel, materials, and tools entering or leaving the site.
• Monitor and observe construction workers during assigned tasks.
• Maintain control of construction materials within or moving to/from the site.
• Produce daily logs of all activities and events.
• Report all security-related incidents to the SSM.
• Report anomalies and counterintelligence-related incidents immediately and without delay.
