Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Dedicated Cloud Engineer to support the DAF CLOUDworks program, working with multiple teams to enable secure cloud offerings. You will deploy cloud-hosted applications, design Kubernetes-centric solutions, and automate deployment pipelines, collaborating with internal and external partners.

The role requires strong communicators, problem solvers, and the ability to handle DoD-related requirements while advancing cloud capabilities and security.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of development and deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Work with mission partners to enable and deploy cloud-hosted applications and services.
• Design, implement, and support Kubernetes-centric cloud environments.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring using GitOps/CI-CD pipelines.
• Manage networking, storage, Linux/Windows hosts, and security controls.
• Contribute to platform engineering for reliability, scalability, and security.
