Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Requirements Technical Writer to join our Cyber Mission unit in Jessup, MD. This full-time role supports one of the largest enterprise engineering contracts in the Intelligence Community and requires 1880 hours per year at a customer location.

You will write and edit operations documentation, create guides for capabilities, and research technical material, while leveraging MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio to produce clear, precise publications.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four years of additional TW experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise and maintain technical documents to support the unit's mission.
• Write and edit technical documentation for operations; produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; SOPs and policies.
• Research technical subject matter, organizing information from multiple sources, and expressing technical information clearly for a wide audience.
