Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Requirements Technical Writer to join our Cyber Mission team in Jessup, MD. The role supports a major enterprise contract, with full-time hours and on-site work at a customer location.

You will produce and maintain technical docs, guides, and SOPs, and research complex material to explain capabilities to a wide audience. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in technical writing, a technical degree, and a TS/SCI with polygraph within the last 10 years.

Qualifications

• Eight years of technical writer experience in large, complex programs.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required; four years can substitute.
• Experience writing operations docs, user guides and manuals.
• Ability to gather technical information and write clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise and maintain technical documents for the unit.
• Write and edit documentation; create operations and end-user guides.
• Research technical material and present information clearly to readers.
