Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer focused on Embedded Systems and Flight Control Hardware at Aberdeen Proving Ground. You will design, prototype, and mature embedded electronic systems for unmanned and autonomous platforms, coordinating with software, mechanical, and autonomy teams.

You will lead schematic design, PCB development, firmware integration, and hardware bring‑up, working across interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet while leveraging platforms such

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing embedded electronic systems including schematic design, PCB development, and hardware bring‑up.
• Experience with microcontrollers, embedded processors, or SoCs and peripheral circuitry.
• Experience with flight control hardware, avionics, robotics, or real‑time embedded systems.
• Knowledge of embedded interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet.
• Experience developing or debugging embedded firmware in C/C++.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded electronic systems for unmanned and autonomous platforms.
• Integrate flight controllers, processors, sensors, cameras, and communications hardware into platforms.
• Provide hands‑on engineering support from architecture to system test.
