Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a qualified Carpenter to support facilities operations at Fort Meade, Maryland. The role involves advanced carpentry, painting, building maintenance, and modification of facility components in Government-owned facilities.

You will support preventive and corrective maintenance, service orders, and project work in compliance with codes and safety requirements. The position requires five years of relevant experience, a Carpenter qualification or journeyman credential, and ability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Carpenter qualification, journeyman credential, contractor license, or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of commercial/institutional carpentry and related work.
• Experience maintaining architectural/structural components in commercial or government facilities.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and work orders; CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced carpentry, painting, and building maintenance work.
• Install, maintain, and repair doors, trim, fixtures, and related components.
• Repair finishes, walls, ceilings, floors, and cabinetry as needed.
• Paint interior/exterior surfaces and match colors; prepare surfaces.
• Read drawings and interpret work orders; coordinate with team.
• Close out work orders in CMMS and provide status updates.
