Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a qualified Master Electrician to support facilities operations at Fort Meade, Maryland. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and testing of electrical systems in Government-owned facilities.

The ideal candidate has a Maryland Master Electrician license or reciprocal, 5+ years of relevant experience, and a proven ability to read drawings and work with CMMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Master Electrician license recognized by Maryland or reciprocal.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical distribution, troubleshooting, and code compliance.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with CMMS or work order systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair distribution systems, lighting, panels, breakers, transformers, motors, and controls.
• Install and replace wiring, conduit, fixtures, switches, and receptacles.
• Inspect systems for hazards and necessary repairs; test circuits.
• Ensure work complies with NEC, NFPA 70E, codes, and contract requirements.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals; provide updates on deficiencies and projects.
• Close out work orders in CMMS and coordinate with teams and government reps.
