Leffler Consulting is seeking cleared Audit Consultants (entry and junior levels) to join our team in Springfield, VA. The role supports audit remediation, risk management, internal controls development, and responding to IPA requests, with an active TS/SCI clearance required and onsite work in Springfield, VA.

The position emphasizes GAAP compliance, USSGL alignment, and data analysis to improve financial reporting and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• Entry level: 1 year relevant work experience.
• Junior level: 4 years accounting/financial experience with bachelor’s, or master’s with federal experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external position papers per federal requirements and GAAP.
• Ensure transactions align with GAAP and USSGL definitions.
• Analyze financial data to detect trends and improve GL accuracy.
• Analyze accounting trends to identify corrective actions for GL and subs.
