Job summary

Redhawk Administrative Services, LLC seeks a qualified financial remediation specialist to support the Defense Intelligence Agency. This role provides technical advice and leads remediation initiatives across audit cycles to strengthen internal controls and sustain audit readiness onsite in Washington, DC.

The candidate will collaborate with government stakeholders, monitor remediation effectiveness, maintain policy documentation, and ensure compliance with DoD budget and accounting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in financial management, accounting, or related field.
• 4+ years in DoD accounting analysis, budgeting, or financial management.
• 2+ years with DoD accounting/ERP systems or similar.
• U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to develop, implement, and sustain remediation practices.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to embed corrective actions.
• Monitor remediated findings for ongoing effectiveness and risk.
• Review and maintain policies, procedures, and control narratives.
• Analyze recurring weaknesses and recommend improvements.
• Track sustainment activities and report trends to leadership.
• Ensure adherence to established controls through governance reviews.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen processes and documentation.
• Coordinate with audit, compliance, and ops teams to maintain effectiveness.
• Develop metrics and indicators to measure remediation success.
