Job summary

Leffler Consulting, LLC is seeking a Space Systems Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This on-site role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and focuses on system engineering across the life cycle for complex space systems, including space vehicle, payloads, and ground command and control elements.

You will lead requirements management, interface definition, customer engagement, and proposal evaluation support, mentoring personnel, and coordinating with multiple partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 10+ years of systems engineering or space system acquisition experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage system and segment-level requirements.
• Coordinate specification development, verification, and validation across contractors and enterprise organizations.
• Support technical reviews, design evaluations, integration, and commissioning of new capabilities.
