CDW Government, LLC is seeking a Senior Network / Voice Engineer to support enterprise voice and data services in a secure federal environment. Strong hands‑on experience with VoIP platforms, UC components, and voice infrastructure, plus an active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship, are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required due to federal security requirements.
• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network and voice infrastructure in secure environments.
• Experience performing voice moves, adds, changes, and deletions for IP phones, extensions, voicemail, call routing, hunt groups, shared lines, etc.
• Working knowledge of VoIP technologies, SIP, RTP, QoS, dial plans, gateways, trunks, voicemail, or unified communications platforms.
• Strong understanding of core networking concepts: TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, LAN/WAN connectivity.
• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, voice gateways, routers, switches.
• Ability to troubleshoot voice and network issues using logs, packet captures, monitoring tools, and traces.

Responsibilities

• Perform moves, adds, changes, and deletions for voice equipment and telephony services.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IP phones, voice gateways, call managers, and UC components.
• Support day-to-day voice operations, provisioning, incident response, and user support.
• Troubleshoot voice quality and connectivity issues (one-way audio, dropped calls, latency, jitter).
• Support core network tasks including LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, QoS, and secure access.
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and government stakeholders for circuit issues and porting.
• Create and maintain documentation for voice infrastructure, extensions, dial plans, call flows, topology diagrams.
• Plan and execute network/voice changes through change management processes.
• Support cybersecurity/compliance requirements in a federal environment.
• Provide guidance to junior staff on voice endpoint configuration and escalation procedures.
