Job summary

CDW seeks a Senior Network / Voice Engineer to support enterprise voice and network operations in a secure federal environment. Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

You will manage voice moves and changes, install and troubleshoot IP phones and UC components, and coordinate with carriers and government stakeholders for mission-critical support. The role emphasizes reliable operations, documentation, and compliance with security standards, while mentoring teammates in voice

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required due to federal security requirements.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network and voice in secure environments.
• Experience with voice moves, adds, changes, and deletions for IP phones and related services.
• Strong knowledge of VoIP, SIP, RTP, QoS, dial plans, gateways and unified communications.

Responsibilities

• Perform moves, adds, changes, and deletions for voice equipment and services.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP phones, gateways, and UC components.
• Support day-to-day voice operations, provisioning, incident response, and user support.
• Troubleshoot voice quality, latency, jitter, and PSTN/SIP trunk issues.
• Manage core network tasks: LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, QoS and security.
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and government customers for service restoration.
• Create documentation for voice infrastructure, dial plans, and change records.
• Plan changes through change management with risk minimization.
• Support cybersecurity compliance and vulnerability remediation as required.
• Mentor junior technicians on voice configurations and escalation procedures.
