Job summary

CDW is seeking a Cisco Unified Communications (UC) Engineer to support and maintain enterprise voice and collaboration environments within a secure government customer environment. The role requires hands-on CUCM expertise and the ability to operate in a TS/SCI cleared SCIF.

You will design, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco UC solutions, manage multi-site calls, and provide Tier III support while collaborating with network, security, and customer teams.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• 5+ years hands-on CUCM/Call Manager experience.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise VoIP solutions.
• Strong SIP, SCCP, dial plans, gateways, trunking knowledge.
• Experience designing multi-site Cisco voice solutions.
• Able to diagnose complex issues independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support CUCM environments.
• Design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco IP Telephony, voice, video, mobility, and collaboration solutions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve call routing issues and call quality concerns.
• Create, analyze, and troubleshoot call flows and CDRs.
• Perform software upgrades, patching, migrations, and lifecycle management in Cisco UC environments.
• Support Cisco Unity Connection voicemail systems and Cisco IP phone deployments.
• Collaborate in design and implementation of multi-site Cisco collaboration solutions.
• Provide Tier III technical support and escalation for complex voice issues.
• Collaborate with network engineers, security teams, vendors, and customer stakeholders.
• Monitor and optimize voice infrastructure performance.
• Document configurations, procedures, and technical solutions.
