Job summary

Progression Inc. is seeking an AV/VTC Technician to install, configure and maintain secure AV and IT systems in IC conference rooms in Chantilly, VA. The role requires TS/SCI with CI Poly and hands-on VTC experience within DoD space or armed forces.

You will support lifecycle engineering, conduct security-compliant maintenance, and provide user training on conferencing tools (Alleo, Zoom, Teams, Webex). Strong documentation and patching discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly required.
• 4 years of AV/VTC experience required.
• 4 years AV experience in the DoD Space/Armed Forces required.
• 4 years VTC experience in the DoD Space/Armed Forces required.
• Hands-on experience with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex).
• 2+ years of full lifecycle of secure AV/VTC/IT at Systems Engineering level.
• Security+ CE required.
• Degree/Sub: bachelor\'s with 4+ years, master\'s with 2+ years, assoc with 6+ years, or HS diploma with 9+ years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of AV and IT systems in IC conference rooms with specific usage of PowerPoint and Alleo software.
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues affecting secure conferencing environments.
• Ensure VTC systems comply with security protocols and operational requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to personnel on AV systems, video conferencing tools, and presentation equipment with oversight of Alleo software.
• Apply systems engineering principles to support the full lifecycle of secure AV/VTC/IT systems, including requirements decomposition, interface definition, integration, test planning, validation, risk identification, and documentation.
• Conduct inspections and upgrades on AV/IT infrastructure to maintain performance and security compliance.
• Support software systems engineering activities for collaboration platforms, including requirements management, configuration control, QA, testing, releases, and stakeholder coordination.
• Recommend enhancements to streamline technical operations and improve user experience.
• Maintain logs of conference room configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and operational reports.
• Collaborate with IT and facilities teams to address technical needs and implement system upgrades.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity/IT teams to support secure enterprise AV/VTC environments through patch and change management, approved configurations.
