Job summary

IAP World Services is seeking a Bio-Retention Pond Inspector to support environmental compliance and long-term sustainability. The role covers inspection, evaluation, and maintenance oversight of bioretention ponds, rain gardens, bioswales, and related green stormwater infrastructure to meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include documenting conditions, coordinating with facilities teams, and ensuring operational performance in accordance with IC security protocols.

Qualifications

• CBLP Level 1 certification required.
• 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience inspecting or managing bioretention systems or green stormwater infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of bioretention ponds, rain gardens, bioswales, and BMPs.
• Evaluate system performance (infiltration, vegetation, sediment, erosion).
• Document deficiencies and action items with recommended improvements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local stormwater permits and standards.
• Coordinate with facilities, environmental, and landscaping teams for maintenance and lifecycle planning.
• Maintain inspection records and photographic documentation per IC requirements.
• Support green infrastructure design, installation, and maintenance practices.
