Job summary

Denari is seeking a full-stack engineer who leans backend, writes TypeScript as a first language, and can build a data-connected frontend in React without a designer holding their hand. This is a high-agency, high-ownership role where a new hire can realistically take full technical ownership of an entire product inside the suite.

The engineering team is small and in heavy build mode — shipping every piece of software an accounting firm needs outside of tax.

Qualifications

• Strong TypeScript proficiency (first language)
• React proficiency (front-to-back)
• Experience designing schemas and data structures that survive real-world use
• Non-trivial track record of shipped products used by real people
• Up-to-date with modern engineering tooling and zeitgeist

Responsibilities

• Design data structures for scalable frontends and data flows
• Build data-connected frontends in React with a backend focus
• Establish patterns and foundations for future engineers
• Own features end-to-end with high agency and ownership
• Collaborate openly and move quickly without extensive specs
