Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal / Sr Principal Computer Systems Analyst (Linux Systems Administrator) to support classified government contracts. On-site roles at Linthicum, MD or Morrisville, NC; on-site requirement due to classified work.
Role requires Security+ CE or equivalent, Top Secret/SCI clearance with recent polygraph, and strong Linux administration in a classified environment. Experience with AWS, STIGs, and multi-discipline collaboration is needed.
Qualifications
- Master's degree with IT experience or equivalent.
- Security+ CE or equivalent IAT II cert required.
- Experience with Linux server administration in a classified environment.
- Experience installing/configuring resources in AWS cloud.
- Experience implementing STIGs on Linux systems.
- Must have current Top Secret/SCI clearance with recent Polygraph.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Programs.
Responsibilities
- Perform as Linux Admin for classified government contracts.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with system engineers and IT teams.
- Support multiple networks and Linux administration tasks.
- Maintain backup, recovery, and file systems; ensure virus protection.
- Test new product releases for compatibility; document processes.
- Work after hours and on-call as required.
