Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a Systems Administrator to support large government contracts. The role involves Linux and Windows administration, VMware, NAS storage, and security responsibilities.

Candidates must hold an active Top Secret clearance and DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 or higher; experience with RMF/STIG, NetApp ONTAP, and enterprise storage is preferred; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years IT experience.
Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance at time of application.
DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Experience with Linux and Windows server administration.
Experience with VMware technologies.
Experience with NAS storage devices (NetApp ONTAP).
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to support after hours and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform as a Linux and Windows System Administrator on large government contracts.
Perform administration on VMware technologies.
Experience with NAS storage and administration.
Maintain smooth operation of multi-user systems with coordination across teams.
Implement system enhancements for performance and reliability.
Provide backup and recovery services; manage file systems and permissions.
Maintain security audit and logging on classified systems per ISSM.
Support the Cyber Security team.
Report project status for recurring and non-recurring efforts.
