Job summary

RSC2, Inc. in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD is seeking an Executive Systems Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on developing, documenting, and coordinating systems engineering processes for the SAI contract.

The position requires an active Top Secret clearance and a Master’s degree in engineering or a related field, with 15+ years of hardware design and documentation experience. It is a full-time, salary-exempt role with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of progressively more complex experience in hardware design, development and documentation.
• Four additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education level.
• MS degree may be substituted for one year of experience.
• PhD in related field may substitute for two additional years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document systems engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for PD SAI systems.
• Coordinate with the systems engineering IPT and other technical forums at the PD SAI and subordinate agency level.
• Assess the efficacy of the engineering and integration processes with program, project and product management offices.
• Independently evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and make minor adaptations.
• Provide independent and professional support on portions of complex projects.
• Review, advise, prepare and provide comments to documents including Logistics Support Analyses plans, technical documentation, reliability and maintainability documents, MANPRINT, training manuals, provisioning documents, and database management systems.
