Job summary

RSC2, Inc. is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The role requires leading systems engineering activities, providing technical guidance, and mentoring staff to ensure quality across the program.

The ideal candidate holds a TS/SCI clearance, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and at least eight years of experience in systems engineering, with demonstrated expertise in integration, configuration management, and program-level testing and evaluation.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or related scientific or technical discipline.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience.
• IAT level II certification required.
• PM/IFPC/related certifications (PMP, information security, IFPC) preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of systems engineering services to ensure program requirements are met and interoperability is achieved.
• Lead and mentor lower-grade staff to ensure quality and accuracy of work.
• Prepare specifications, plans, analyses, modeling, testing, simulations and reports.
• Review engineering output for systems-level operations, maintenance, performance improvements, and configuration management.
• Conduct trade-off analyses and advise contractors to meet government requirements.
• Coordinate meetings with contractors and provide government oversight for acquisition outcomes.
