Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior technology strategy leader to work with Federal executives, business SMEs, and key stakeholders in Reston, VA. You will drive current-state assessments, define desired capabilities, and outline architectures for mission-critical systems.

You will guide governance, CONOPS, and operating models, while delivering prototypes using AWS, Java/PHP/JS/Python stacks and low-code platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years leading technology consulting engagements with clients.
• 8+ years developing solution and enterprise architecture artifacts.
• Experience leading an ATO in IL-4/IL-5 DoW environment.
• 3+ years building and deploying applications to AWS Cloud.
• 3+ years implementing infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Active Top Secret Clearance or interim TS.
• Experience building full-stack apps with Java, PHP, JavaScript, Python.
• Experience with Node.js, React JS, and Angular.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with Agile and Scaled Agile.
• Experience with microservices, serverless, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of web services standards and distributed architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop technology strategy in collaboration with Federal executives, business SMEs, and stakeholders.
• Lead meetings with senior client leadership to discover current state, needs, and goals.
• Develop governance, operating models, CONOPS, and processes supporting the mission.
• Build prototypes and POCs using data, tech, and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Document as-is and to-be architecture diagrams and flow charts.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships and cross-team initiatives.
• Perform hands-on coding and infrastructure work as required.
