Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Software Engineer (Full-Stack and AI) to build, optimize, and deploy enterprise‑scale, AI‑enabled data processing and visualization systems for federal customers.

You will work across hybrid, on‑premises, and multi‑cloud environments (AWS/Azure GovCloud), developing scalable backend services, AI workflows, and responsive UIs for analysts and end users.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive software development experience delivering scalable applications in operational or production environments.
• Hands-on experience with core backend programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or C/C++.
• Experience deploying and interacting with cloud services within AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Solid foundation in RESTful API development, relational/NoSQL databases, version control (Git), and software design principles.
• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Cloud & Microservices Development: Build and maintain highly available, secure microservices across AWS and Azure GovCloud.
• Full-Stack & Web UI Engineering: Create modern UIs and dashboards using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• AI & Machine Learning Integration: Integrate AI/ML workflows and LLM capabilities into data pipelines.
• Data Pipeline Support: Develop distributed data processing workflows and event-driven messaging.
• Cyber & Tooling Support: Analyze software behavior and support data extraction and recovery tools.
• DevSecOps & Automation: Use IaC and CI/CD automation for secure deployments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with architects, data scientists, and federal stakeholders.
