Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a mid-level Cloud Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled data processing systems for federal environments. You’ll work across backend services and modern UIs, delivering scalable solutions in hybrid, on-premises, and multi-cloud contexts.

Responsibilities include building microservices, integrating AI/ML workflows, and ensuring secure DevSecOps practices with IaC and CI/CD pipelines. A TS clearance and strong cloud fundamentals are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related STEM field.
• 2+ years of progressive software development experience delivering scalable applications.
• Backend proficiency with Python, Java, C#, or C/C++, plus scripting (Bash, PowerShell).
• Cloud foundations with AWS or Azure.
• RESTful API development; relational/NoSQL databases; Git; software design principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain microservices and cloud components across AWS and Azure GovCloud.
• Build modern UIs and dashboards using React/Angular/Vue for analysts.
• Integrate AI/ML workflows and LLM capabilities into data pipelines.
• Assist in distributed data processing workflows and event-driven systems.
• Collaborate to analyze software behavior and support data extraction tools.
• Utilize IaC and CI/CD pipelines for secure deployments.
• Translate user requirements into robust software features with stakeholders.
