Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Baltimore, MD seeks an Architect with active TS/Secret clearance to join our design team. You will participate in and lead phases from design development through construction documentation, collaborating with in-house and external consultants to deliver high-quality projects.

Candidates should have an accredited architecture degree, 5–10 years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Active TS/Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS
• Accredited professional architecture degree (B.Arch/M.Arch)
• 5–10 years of relevant architecture experience
• Strong design and technical skills; motivated to apply them
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience creating graphics for building design presentations
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, client-focused
• Some travel up to 400 miles
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
• Proficient with MS Project, Excel and Word
• Experience with construction documentation and building detailing
• Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp and other graphics programs desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead phases of projects from design development to construction documentation
• Collaborate with in-house and external disciplines
• Manage scope, budget, and schedule under guidance
• Contribute to design through sketches, 3D modeling and development of solutions
• Interface with clients, contractors and regulatory agencies
• Conduct code analysis, material research and specs
• Mentor junior staff and support business development
