Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced Architect to lead the design of industrial and infrastructure projects. You will guide projects from concept through construction, collaborating with engineers, PMs, and clients to deliver integrated solutions and create construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD.

The ideal candidate has 16+ years of industrial design experience, strong knowledge of codes, sustainability is a plus, and proven leadership abilities for

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in architecture (Bachelor or Master).
• 16+ years of experience in architectural design, focusing on industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility and construction detailing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support architectural design on industrial projects from concept through construction.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to develop integrated design solutions.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Perform site visits and construction administration tasks.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and subconsultants to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and presentations.
