  • 3+ years of paralegal experience in trusts, estates, probate, or private wealth.
  • Experience with high-net-worth individuals, trustees, and fiduciaries preferred.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with all phases of estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.
  • Coordinate estate plan execution meetings and ensure proper execution of documents.
  • Prepare probate and trust filings, fiduciary accountings, and supporting correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients, trustees, and professionals about estate planning matters.
  • Organize and maintain complex estate planning files with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with asset transfers, trust funding, and related post-execution matters.
  • Track deadlines and manage probate and trust timelines.
  • Prepare client engagement materials and documentation for attorney review.
  • Support billing, matter management, and special projects as needed.

Job Details
  • Assist attorneys with all phases of sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters for high-net-worth individuals and families.
  • Coordinate estate plan execution meetings, oversee document signings, and ensure proper execution and funding requirements are satisfied.
  • Prepare probate and trust administration filings, court documents, fiduciary accountings, and supporting correspondence.
  • Communicate directly with clients, trustees, family members, financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals regarding estate planning and administration matters.
  • Organize and maintain complex estate planning and administration files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm procedures.
  • Assist with asset transfers, trust funding, beneficiary designations, and related post-execution estate planning matters.
  • Track critical deadlines and manage probate, trust administration, and estate settlement timelines.
  • Prepare client correspondence, engagement materials, and supporting documentation for attorney review.
  • Support billing, matter management, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent Trusts & Estates, Estate Planning, Probate, or Private Wealth paralegal experience within a law firm.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees, and fiduciaries preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of estate planning documents, probate procedures, trust administration, and estate settlement processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and client-focused demeanor.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document management systems, and PDF software.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential financial and personal information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
