Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Houston, TX is seeking a Preferred Relationship Manager to focus on acquiring, growing and retaining bank customers, especially Preferred Program and mass affluent clients.

You will build trusted advisory relationships, promote our consultative sales process, and collaborate with the Financial Center team to expand referrals while delivering financial solutions. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience in a sales environment; experience in financial industry.
• Pass consultative selling skills certification and complete ongoing educational requirements as prescribed.
• Series SIE, 6, 63 and insurance licenses required; Series 65 must be obtained within 90 days of hire with up to two attempts.
• Have demonstrated ability to build and maintain a revenue-producing book of business, in the mass affluent segment.
• Position involves contact with the public, necessitating a professional image.

Responsibilities

• Execute on retail strategies and tactics to increase the Preferred Program households and growth referrals.
• Build deep relationships with customers to earn trusted advisor status.
• Demonstrate ability to simplify and communicate complex financial concepts.
• Support the Financial Center team in the referral/sales process with a focus on Preferred customers.
• Maintain knowledge of the full line of products and services and stay updated.
• Meet or exceed investment sales and referral goals with the Investment Executive.
• Initiate and maintain customer contact via in-center interactions, telemarketing, and seminars.
