Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Preferred Relationship Manager in Houston, Texas. The role focuses on acquiring, growing, and retaining mass affluent clients within the Preferred Program, delivering needs-based financial solutions, and partnering with center teams to drive referrals and wealth growth.

You will work to maintain strong client relationships, simplify financial concepts for customers, and participate in community events and seminars to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a sales environment; experience in financial industry.
• Pass consultative selling skills certification and ongoing education.
• Series SIE, 6, 63 and insurance licenses required; Series 65 within 90 days.
• Build and maintain a revenue-producing book of business in the mass affluent segment.
• Ability to present a professional image when interacting with the public.

Responsibilities

• Execute on retail strategies to increase the Preferred Program households and fulfill customer needs.
• Build deep relationships with customers to earn trusted-advisor status.
• Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear, simple way.
• Participate in financial center huddles and meetings to support sales activities.
• Guide the Financial Center team in the referral/sales process focusing on Preferred customers.
• Maintain knowledge of the complete range of products and services.
• Meet or exceed investment sales and referral goals with the Investment Executive.
• Initiate and maintain customer contact through various channels and events.
• Stay informed about local business and economic trends to anticipate needs.
