Job summary

Amazon's Devices & Services Trust, Privacy and Accessibility (DSTPA) seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead privacy, trust, and accessibility initiatives across 30+ devices and services. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and legal teams to define requirements, drive risk-based prioritization, and deliver compliant, scalable controls.

You will write SOPs, runbooks, and dashboards, perform root-cause analysis on incidents, and mentor teams on privacy automation and policy

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
2+ years of software development experience.
3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk.
Experience leading cross-functional programs and coordinating release schedules.
Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.

Responsibilities

Manage escalated technical events and cases from start to finish; write detailed case notes, technical reports, summaries, and recommendations for leadership.
Execute trust and privacy compliance campaigns and initiatives with technical requirements, ensuring remediation within SLAs.
Monitor and maintain operational scorecards and metrics dashboards using SQL, Python, and data visualization tools.
Respond to high-severity technical incidents, conducting root cause analysis and coordinating cross-functional response.
Conduct technical controls testing and validation to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Perform closed loop validation on remediated risks, verifying corrective actions through testing.
Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and training materials for operational processes.
Identify opportunities to automate and simplify processes via scripting and tooling.
Partner with engineering to define privacy automation tool requirements and incident systems.
Track assessment, validation, and remediation actions and prioritize tasks.
Understand architectures and data flows to assess privacy and trust risks.
Communicate remediation plans and status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support deep dive assessments and ad-hoc data analysis related to privacy and trust incidents.
