Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management in Newark, DE, is hiring a Trust Administrator to support daily administration of trust and estate accounts under supervision.

You will establish account records, communicate with beneficiaries and co-trustees, and assist in risk management and fiduciary duties. You will work with wealth advisors and external counsel to grow and optimize the trust and estate business, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience in trust and estates preferred.
• Strong client servicing skills and proactive communication.
• Clear and concise communication; time management and adaptability.
• Knowledge of fiduciary products, tax and investment concepts.

Responsibilities

• Open estate or trust accounts with the Account Opening Group.
• Interpret governing instruments and applicable law for proper set-up and tax records.
• Analyze wills and trust documents for legal, tax, and investment issues.
• Manage day-to-day administration and client base to minimize issues.
• Collaborate with Tax Officers and trust counsel to resolve tax issues.
• Assist Trust Officer to maintain beneficiary information and fiduciary duties.
• Partner with clients’ other advisors to support comprehensive service.
• Develop and deepen client relationships and contribute to strategy.
