Job summary

Cleary Building Corp. in Verona, Wisconsin is seeking a hands-on Truss Plant Floor Lead for the 1st shift to support daily production in our truss manufacturing facility.

This role blends hands-on fabrication with coordinating workflow, guiding team members, and upholding safety and productivity. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and eager to develop leadership skills within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret prints, diagrams, and production specifications.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn production processes and develop leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Build roof and floor trusses according to production requirements, prints, and diagrams.
• Operate the top chord drill machine, web saw, and Sawyer saw station.
• Coordinate daily workflow and assist with organizing production activities across plant work areas.
• Provide direction and support to plant team members to help meet production goals and deadlines.
• Communicate production priorities, identify workflow challenges, and help resolve day-to-day operational issues.
• Follow established safety procedures and ensure equipment is operated safely.
• Maintain quality standards and help ensure trusses are built accurately and according to specifications.
• Assist with training and supporting team members as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
