Responsibilities

• Build roof and floor trusses according to production requirements, prints, and diagrams.
• Operate the top chord drill machine, web saw, and Sawyer saw station.
• Coordinate daily workflow and assist with organizing production activities across plant work areas.
• Provide direction and support to plant team members to help meet production goals and deadlines.
• Communicate production priorities, identify workflow challenges, and help resolve day-to-day operational issues.
• Follow established safety procedures and ensure equipment is operated safely.
• Maintain quality standards and help ensure trusses are built accurately and according to specifications.
• Assist with training and supporting team members as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Truss Plant Floor Lead- 1 st Shift

Cleary Building Corp. is seeking a hands-on Truss Plant Floor Lead to support daily production operations in our truss manufacturing facility. This position combines hands-on truss building and machine operation with coordinating workflow, supporting team members, and helping maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, detail-oriented, and interested in developing their leadership skills within a manufacturing environment.

The Job;

Build roof and floor trusses according to production requirements, prints, and diagrams.

Operate the top chord drill machine, web saw, and Sawyer saw station.

Coordinate daily workflow and assist with organizing production activities across plant work areas.

Provide direction and support to plant team members to help meet production goals and deadlines.

Communicate production priorities, identify workflow challenges, and help resolve day-to-day operational issues.

Required:

Ability to read and interpret prints, diagrams, and production specifications.

Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, including regularly lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Willingness to learn production processes and develop leadership skills.

Preferred:

Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience.

Previous experience coordinating work, training others, or serving in a lead role.
