Job summary

PARR is the total source for homebuilding supplies, solutions, and services. The Truss Builder uses a framing hammer and nail plates to fabricate roof and floor trusses in a warehouse setting. The role reports to Ops Lead or Production Manager and focuses on quality, speed, and teamwork to deliver defect-free products.

Requires attention to detail, ability to operate power tools safely, and reliable transportation. Benefits include vacation, sick days, holidays, and a 401(k) with profit sharing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to use framing hammer, electric saw and pneumatic nail gun.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials for damage before use and ensure quality.
• Unload precut lumber and position pieces to improve workflow.
• Select correct nail plates for current truss batch with pull sheets.
• Fabricate trusses by assembling lumber with nail plates and a hammer.
• Maintain tight joints, no defects, and properly positioned plates.
• Maintain steady pace, accuracy, neat appearance, and good hygiene.
