Job summary

US LBM Holdings, LLC is hiring for a Truss Assembler role across our locations in the United States. You will lay out materials, assemble components, and read shop drawings to ensure correct sizes and patterns are followed while maintaining safety at all times.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior carpentry experience preferred. You will operate routers, saws, presses, and staple guns, support inventory, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior carpentry experience preferred.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer.
• Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns.

Responsibilities

• Lay out truss supplies and materials on carts or floor and stock plates for component set-up.
• Assemble components under the direction of the line leaders.
• Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets inside and/or outside.
• Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.
• Read shop drawings to identify plate sizes, plate gauges, girder truss nailing and bolt patterns.
• Read shop drawings to understand stacking order when required.
• Monitor production workflow process assisting other areas as needed.
• Operate all equipment necessary to the assembly process.
• Adhere to established safety rules and regulations; maintain a safe environment.
• Comply with attendance policy and maintain regular attendance.
• Assist in maintaining organized work environment and keep bays/staging areas clean.
• Provide excellent customer service and participate in a positive work environment.
• Monitor inventory as required by location management.
