Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dependable Truss Assembler to construct and assemble trusses in a Culpeper, VA facility. The role involves reading blueprints, using saws, nail guns and drills, and inspecting finished work for quality and accuracy.

You will operate in a production environment, lifting up to 50 lbs and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. The job includes a weekly pay cycle with benefit options and a bonus/referral program.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a measuring tape.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment inside production plant.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble truss components, including beams and connectors, using saws, nail guns, and drills.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
• Inspect finished trusses for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Handle and organize materials to maintain workflow and reduce waste.
