Qualifications

• One year truss table experience
• Ability to read a measuring tape and use a hammer
• Ability to read and understand simple diagrams or blueprints
• Ability to recognize size grade and quality of material
• Ability to drive a forklift with onsite training
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong ability to work effectively with diverse individuals from management to floor employees
• Strong communication skills, reasoning, and mathematical skills
• Regular and punctual attendance is essential to the successful execution of this role to maintain team productivity and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Assemble building material components using designated tools per specifications.
• Place metal reinforcement plates and connect joints with a hammer.
• Verify dimensions of precut parts and accuracy of assembly.
• Mark truss IDs and band bunks on finished products.
• Operate forklifts for material handling and transportation.
• Store and organize materials safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects while following safety protocols.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area; keep racks clear as trusses are produced.
• Routinely clean to maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow safety procedures for saws and material handling; wear PPE and follow lockout-tagout rules.
• Maintain regular attendance and willingness to work overtime.
• May perform other related duties as assigned
