Position Summary

Facilitates the successful execution of transportation services by sourcing carrier capacity, negotiating rates, and coordinating freight movements. Serves as a key liaison between customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service.

Major Tasks And Responsibilities

• Negotiates transportation rates and pricing agreements with carriers to secure cost-effective capacity solutions.
• Maintains strong relationships with customers and carriers to support service excellence and business growth.
• Sources carrier capacity to meet customer transportation requirements and support consistent lane coverage.
• Coordinates pickup and delivery schedules to ensure on-time freight movement and alignment with customer expectations.
• Communicates shipment status updates, delays, and service exceptions to customers and stakeholders.
• Maintains transportation management systems (TMS) and shipment records to support operational visibility and data accuracy.
• Resolves service issues, escalations, and shipment discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams to support customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of logistics, transportation, or freight brokerage experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using transportation management systems (TMS).

Work Conditions and Physical Demands

• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and operating office equipment.

• Occasional movement, bending, and reaching as needed to perform office tasks or attend meetings.
• Some travel may be required, including overnight travel.
