The ideal candidate has 5+ years supervising Class-A CDL drivers, DOT familiarity, and strong analytical and leadership skills. Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook is preferred, with a proven track record in trucking leadership and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of transportation/logistics supervision experience.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance and OSHA training.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation is profitable.
• Monitor costs and control spending at the terminal.
• Eliminate wasteful activities and spending.
• Ensure facility security and prevent theft.
• Hire, supervise, take corrective action, and terminate employees.
• Manage hourly schedules and overtime.
• Control accessorial pay for drivers.
• File all documentation properly.
• Ensure adequate drivers to meet customer needs.
• Ensure training for employees and drivers.
• Hold monthly safety meetings.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and OSHA training.
