Buchanan Transportation in Waynesboro, PA is seeking a detail-oriented Trucking Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation of trucks, coordinate schedules, and communicate with drivers and clients to ensure timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate has experience in logistics coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. CDL knowledge is preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in trucking or transportation.
• CDL knowledge preferred.
• 1 year experience in transportation industry preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule trucking and transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of a variety of freight for east coast customers.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Monitor transportation routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and driver performance.
• Assist in resolving any transportation or delivery problems promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners to support operational needs.
