Buchanan Transportation is seeking a detail-oriented Trucking Logistics Coordinator to join our Waynesboro, PA team. You will manage and coordinate transportation of trucks, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain communication with drivers and clients to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has logistics coordination experience, proficiency with transportation management software, and strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on cost-effective, reliable service for east coast

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics coordination in trucking/transportation.
• CDL knowledge preferred.
• 1 year experience in transportation industry preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule trucking and transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of freight for east coast customers.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Monitor transportation routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and driver performance.
• Assist in resolving any transportation or delivery problems promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners to support operational needs.
