Job summary

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. seeks a full-time Legal Assistant to join their Atlanta office, supporting the Trucking Litigation Group. This role involves providing essential administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling complex cases related to trucking, auto accidents, and premises liability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant in civil litigation, preferably with trucking, transportation, or insurance defense matters.
• Familiarity with Georgia court rules, procedures, and e‑filing systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, format, and revise legal documents including pleadings and correspondence.
• Maintain and organize case files, both physical and electronic.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and client meetings.
• Monitor attorney calendars, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court requirements.
• Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and trial binders.

Skills

Experience in civil litigation

Familiarity with Georgia court rules

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong communication skills

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
