Cruser Mitchell is seeking an exceptional litigation associate to join our Atlanta office and take on complex trucking defense and insurance coverage litigation. This is an opportunity for a driven attorney with 1-3 years of experience who is ready to handle sophisticated matters for nationally recognized clients and to exercise real skill and judgment from day one.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of litigation experience including pre- and post-suit investigations, case analysis, drafting and responding to discovery, preparing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation.
• Experience in trucking/transportation defense and/or insurance coverage litigation.
• Active Georgia State Bar membership.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Cruser Mitchell is seeking an exceptional litigation associate to join our Atlanta office and take on complex and high-stakes trucking defense and insurance coverage litigation. This is an opportunity for a driven attorney with one to three years of experience who is ready to handle sophisticated matters for nationally recognized clients and to exercise real skill and judgment from day one. In this role, you will defend trucking and transportation companies, and you will litigate complex insurance coverage disputes involving nuanced policy interpretation, reservation of rights, declaratory judgment actions, and bad-faith exposure.

Attorney Qualifications

• Experience: 2-5 years of litigation experience, including pre- and post-suit investigations, case analysis, drafting and responding to discovery, preparing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation. Required: demonstrable experience in trucking/transportation defense and/or insurance coverage litigation. This experience is the defining qualification for this role.
• Bar Admission: Active membership in the Georgia State Bar in good standing
• Education: J.D. from an accredited law school

Associate Attorney Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive base salary between $125,000 and $155,000, commensurate with experience, plus bonus opportunity
