Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is offering a Trucking Division internship in the United States. Interns will work on meaningful claims assignments, including coverage analysis, investigation, and letter writing, with exposure to various functions in the group.

The role emphasizes a strong learning curve and collaboration with upper management. The program supports in‑office days four days a week and one day remote, with core in‑office days Tuesday–Thursday as needed by business demands.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Pursuing a degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Business or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, analysis, planning and organizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in special projects within the claims and subrogation groups.
• Assist in coverage analysis, investigation and letter writing on claims.
• Learn how claims are reported and assigned within the division and use claims systems.
